A new season is a new season, a new start to a new campaign.
We’ve been through a few changes at the top of the table this year.
The biggest change is the arrival of Juventus star Gianluigi Buffon.
The Nerazzurri have won the league three times in a row, winning the Serie B title once in 2009, and the Champions League once in 2015.
Buffon is not the only one who has made the step up, though, with Milan and Inter Milan both joining the Champions league group of giants.
But how will the season go?
This week, we take a look at the season ahead.
Juventus – Juventus won the Serie Nacional last season, but were knocked out of the Champions’ League in the quarter-finals by Barcelona, meaning they are still chasing the trophy for the first time since 2011.
This year, the Bianconeri will face Juventus, who are currently the best team in the world, in the Champions Club Cup final on the 2nd of March.
Juventus won their first ever Serie A title in 2012, and are still aiming for the Champions Leagues crown.
This season, they have won just once in their last eight games, meaning that they will need to win four more games to win the league this year (their most wins in a single season since 2004).
Juventus are currently third in the Seriea, ahead of Barcelona and Inter.
Inter are in second place with an eight-point lead over Barcelona, but will be chasing a fourth consecutive Serie A crown.
Inter will be without the services of Gianluigo Spalletti, who has been at the helm for the last five seasons, with only Antonio Conte in charge of the team.
Inter have a great chance to qualify for the next season’s Champions League, but have a lot of work to do to do it, particularly in their own league.
Atletico Madrid are currently fifth in La Liga, three points adrift of Barcelona, who have the highest goal difference in the league at +4.
Atleti are currently in the bottom of the league, with just two points in five games.
Atletsi are now without Diego Simeone, with the Argentine’s record at the club being ten games without a win, including the Champions Final.
The Atleticos will be hoping to improve on their form in the first leg of their Champions League tie with Juventus in the next round.
Real Madrid are in third place with just one point from their last five games, and will be aiming to extend their winning run to five games this season.
Barcelona have made the Champions Cup final in each of the last three seasons, and have won four of the six games they have played so far.
Real will be looking to extend the winning run in their home leg of the Club World Cup in 2018, with a game against Atletico at the Estadio Vicente Calderon on Friday, March 17th.
Atalanta will be targeting the title this season, having won it in 2016 and 2017, but with only one win from their previous six games.
Inter Milan are in sixth place, with two points from their first five games of the season.
Juventus will be trying to make history in the Europa League, with three points from three games in the group stage.
Milan are currently second in the Coppa Italia, and in second in Serie B, with five points from four games so far this season (although they have only lost three games).
Inter made it to the semi-finals of the Europa Cup this season with a 1-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven, but lost in the last eight.

Inter’s new manager, Claudio Lotito, is currently on loan at Internazionale, where he is hoping to lead them back to the Champions.
Barcelona will be in fourth place in La Ligue 1, four points adrawn on goal difference from Atletico.
Inter went into the Champions Conference final in 2018 but were beaten 1-1 by Barcelona.
At home, Atletico have scored three goals in five away games this term, but still sit in the top half of the standings.
At the weekend, Inter played a very similar game to their previous game against Barcelona, with Marco Verratti scoring twice for Atletico against the Catalan giants.
Inter beat the reigning Champions League winners Atletico 2-0 at the Camp Nou in March, but that game came just a week after Barcelona
